MASTERCARD
Mehbit Mastercard — Hong Kong
Program country: Hong Kong
The Hong Kong Mastercard is announced but not yet issuable — it is listed here so you can plan around it. When it opens, it will be the cheapest programme to actually spend on, because Hong Kong adds no programme VAT at all.
Zero VAT is the whole argument
Every other programme adds tax to each purchase: 9% on Singapore, 20% on the UK. Hong Kong adds nothing. On 100 USDT of monthly spend that saves 9 USDT a month against Singapore and 20 against the UK — 108 and 240 USDT respectively over a year, on identical spending.
Issuance is 50 USDT rather than the 20 the live Mastercards cost, so the card is more expensive to get and cheaper to run. Against the UK programme it pays back the extra 30 USDT within the second month at that spend level; against Singapore, within the fourth. If you spend little, the cheaper Singapore card still wins.
It also carries the mobile wallets
Unlike the two Mastercards available today, this programme supports Apple Pay and Google Pay. The 5% card load fee and the flat 0.35 USDT per transaction are the same as on every other Mehbit card. If you want to be told when it opens, the Telegram channel is where we announce programme changes first.
