Pay for ASO Scout

You can try ASO Scout before paying anything. Looking up an app without an account shows the first three phrases from its listing. Signing up with Google or an email address unlocks every tool for three days, with no card required, and that trial never turns into a subscription on its own. When it ends, the paid tools lock and you stay on the Free plan, which keeps three keywords per app and reviews for up to two apps.

There are three paid plans, each monthly or yearly. Starter covers one indie app properly: AI keyword suggestions, the ASO Check, three competitors, monthly trends, 20 watched keywords per country, live rank checks and CSV export. Plus raises that to 50 keywords and five competitors with a bigger AI allowance, and Studio removes the keyword limit, allows ten competitors and has the largest AI rewrite and translation budget. At the time of writing, the prices shown are introductory rates for the first 500 customers — Starter $8, Plus $19 and Studio $39 a month, against list prices of $12, $24 and $45 — and ASO Scout says it honours the introductory rate for as long as that subscription stays active. Yearly billing works out cheaper still, and Studio is also sold as a one-time Lifetime purchase.

Payment happens on Stripe Checkout, and ASO Scout itself never sees your card details. Your card is charged when you confirm the checkout, and the plan then renews automatically every month or every year until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you are, so the final total can be slightly higher than the headline figure. If a renewal payment fails, ASO Scout may retry it and may suspend access until it goes through — which with a prepaid card simply means the card was empty on renewal day.

Read the refund rules before you choose a plan, because they are strict. ASO Scout treats the free three-day trial as the way to evaluate the product: once a subscription payment has been taken, it is not refundable, and neither are unused parts of a month or year. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not return one already made. The one exception is Lifetime, which is refundable in full if you ask within 14 days of paying. ASO Scout also says that if something is genuinely broken on its side it will look at refunds case by case.

A realistic word on what the tool can and cannot do. ASO Scout reports data that comes almost entirely from Apple’s public App Store search results and popularity figures, and its own terms say plainly that it cannot promise better rankings, downloads or revenue. App Store edits also take time to show up: a title change ships with your next release, and search can take another two to four weeks to catch up. Use the trial to see whether its keyword table fits the way you work, then pay for the plan that matches how many keywords and competitors you actually track.
