What is this service?
Magnific made its name as an AI image upscaler and enhancer: you give it a small or soft image and it rebuilds it at a much higher resolution, inventing fine detail — skin texture, fabric, foliage — guided by a prompt and a "creativity" slider. It became a favourite of designers, illustrators and photographers who need print-size output from AI renders or old photos. Relight, style transfer, a skin enhancer and a video upscaler followed.
Magnific is now much bigger than the upscaler. Freepik bought it, and in April 2026 Freepik itself renamed the whole company Magnific. magnific.com — "Magnific (formerly Freepik)" — is one account that bundles the Magnific image and video upscalers, image, video, music and voice generation from many AI models, a shared Spaces canvas, and the 250 million-plus Freepik stock library. The old magnific.ai site still works, but only for people who already had an account there; new sign-ups happen on magnific.com.
The subscription is sold on magnific.com by Freepik Company, S.L., a Spanish company, and priced in euros. There is no local payment method for most countries, so an international card is the practical way to pay. A Mehbit virtual Visa or Mastercard, topped up with USDT, is an ordinary international card at that checkout.
Why is payment hard?
Many local bank cards are not authorized for international SaaS billing. Services process payments through Stripe on international rails, so domestic-only cards are often declined even when you have sufficient balance.

Can I pay for Magnific AI with a virtual Visa or Mastercard?
Yes. Magnific takes card payments at the magnific.com checkout, and a reloadable Mehbit virtual card works there. Tested with a real Mehbit card — the payment went through.
Is Magnific the same as Freepik now?
Yes. Freepik acquired Magnific and in April 2026 renamed the whole company Magnific. magnific.com, "Magnific (formerly Freepik)", is one subscription that covers the Magnific upscalers, AI image and video generation and the Freepik stock library. The original magnific.ai site remains only for existing users; new accounts are created on magnific.com.
How much does Magnific cost?
On the pricing page on 2026-09-21: Premium €15 a month (€10.50 a month billed annually), Premium+ €34 a month (€25.50 billed annually) and Pro Starter €83 a month (€62.25 billed annually). Prices exclude VAT and local taxes, and Magnific can change them, so the checkout total is the figure that counts.
Why is the amount on my card different from the listed price?
Magnific prices in euros and adds VAT and local taxes at checkout. A Mehbit card is a dollar card, so the amount taken is the euro total converted at the rate on the day. Fund the card with a little headroom above the checkout total.
How do I cancel Magnific, and is there a refund?
Cancel the renewal from your profile on magnific.com; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. The pricing page advertises a 30-day refund guarantee with no cancellation fees. A legacy magnific.ai subscription is cancelled separately, through Billing on magnific.ai, which opens the Stripe billing portal.
Tips
Fund the card with headroom above the checkout total. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT, so the dollar amount on the card is higher than the list price and moves with the exchange rate.
Annual billing is about 25–30% cheaper per month, but it is charged in one go. Make sure the card holds the full year before you choose it.
Write down the renewal date. The plan renews itself on the same card — top up a few days before, or cancel the renewal from your profile.
New accounts are created on magnific.com, not magnific.ai. The old magnific.ai site is only for people who already had an account.
