What is Doprax?

Doprax is a cloud platform for developers run from Denmark. Instead of tying you to one data centre, it puts virtual machines from several providers — among them Hetzner, OVH, Vultr, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud, Scaleway, Gcore and its own ProVM — behind a single dashboard and a single balance.

Besides virtual machines it offers App Space, a container platform that runs a Docker image, a public GitHub repository or a Compose file and gives each exposed port its own HTTPS address; an App Market of one-click apps; and AI agents that can create and manage infrastructure for you. App Space runs in Canada, France, Germany, Poland and the UK.

Doprax is pay-as-you-go: you top up your account balance and running services draw it down by the hour. A Mehbit virtual debit Mastercard topped up with USDT works as a card for those top-ups, like any other international card.

There is no fixed monthly subscription. Each service has a monthly price that Doprax bills by the hour from your balance, and Doprax says there are no setup fees. Virtual machines start from $5.95 a month on Vultr, $7.28 on DigitalOcean, $7.95 on ProVM and $11.93 on Hetzner, with larger machines from every provider. App Space plans run from Standard 1 (1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 20 GB disk) at $5.95 a month up to Standard 6 (8 vCPU, 16 GB RAM, 200 GB disk) at $44.95, traffic included. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, so VAT may be added.

A server costs money for as long as it exists, not only while it runs: a stopped virtual machine or App Space is still charged, because it keeps its disk, address and capacity. Delete a service to stop its charge. The minimum top-up is $5, and you need at least $3 of available balance to create a server — more for plans of $30 a month or more.

Watch your balance. Doprax warns you by email and in the app as it runs low, but if your available balance reaches zero, every service is frozen and then queued for permanent deletion, usually within 24 hours. Top up before that and your services come back with their data. Topping up a little ahead of time with your Mehbit card is the simple way to avoid it.

Doprax accepts major cards such as Visa and Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay, and more than 300 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, USDT and ETH. If you already hold USDT you can pay Doprax in crypto directly; a Mehbit card is the option when you would rather top up by card — for example to keep one card for all your cloud and software bills.

Refunds are possible on request, but only once the account has no active services, and Doprax says they can take up to two weeks. Its terms otherwise treat fees as non-refundable except where the law requires, and a balance cannot be moved to another Doprax account. Keep the Mehbit card active in case a refund comes back to it.

Why local cards get declined at Doprax

Many local bank cards are not enabled for international online payments, or their bank refuses foreign merchants. Merchants abroad charge cards through global payment processors, so a domestic-only card is often declined even when it has enough balance.
