Pay for Suno AI

Suno sells three tiers. Free costs nothing and gives you 50 credits a day, roughly ten songs, for personal use only. Pro is $10 per month billed monthly, or $8 per month if you pay for the year up front ($96, a 20% saving), and comes with 2,500 credits a month — about 500 songs — plus commercial rights. Premier is $30 per month billed monthly, or $24 per month on the annual plan ($288), with 10,000 credits a month and Suno Studio. A song generation costs about five credits. Suno calculates tax at checkout on top of these numbers, and it changes its plans and prices more often than most subscriptions, so treat the figure on the Suno checkout page as the real one.

The single most confusing thing about paying for Suno is the name on your statement. The charge does not say “Suno”. Both of ours arrived as “Google Suno AI Music”, followed by a Singapore location — Google processed the payment, so Google’s name and Google’s regional billing address are what the card network passes along. That location has nothing to do with where your account is or where you are. If you open your Mehbit activity feed, see an unfamiliar Google line and do not connect it to the music subscription you signed up for last week, you are looking at exactly this. Note that the descriptor depends on where you subscribed: Suno’s own website checkout is processed by Stripe and reads differently, so do not treat “Google Suno AI Music” as the only line Suno can produce.

We paid two real Suno subscription charges with a Mehbit card and both settled: SGD 13.98 (about $11.23) on 2026-08-31, and SGD 13.98 again (about $11.26) on 2026-09-04. These were not authorisation holds that fell off — the money left the card and stayed gone, twice, a week apart. The amounts line up with the monthly Pro tier once local tax is added. That is why this page carries the green payment-tested badge.

It is worth being clear about what that proves, because Google is involved. Google Play store purchases and in-app purchases sit under a restricted merchant category that blocks Mehbit cards at the network level — those decline outright, every time. These Suno charges did not decline. They authorised and then settled. Whatever category Google coded them under, it was not the blocked one, and a Suno subscription is not a Google Play purchase.

What actually goes wrong afterwards is almost never the card — it is the balance on renewal day. Suno charges on your billing date, and if the charge fails you lose the credit refill along with the subscription. Top the card up a day or two ahead rather than on the day itself, and leave a buffer above the plan price: tax is added at checkout, and if your charge lands in a currency other than dollars — ours came through in Singapore dollars — the converted amount will not match the price page to the cent. The annual plans are the ones to watch here. They are cheaper per month but take the whole year in one charge, so the card needs $96 or $288 available on that day, not $10 or $30. If you do let it lapse, note also that songs generated on the free plan stay non-commercial; upgrading later does not retroactively license them.
