On the AI Search side the published ladder is a permanently free tier, then Starter at $49 a month for 5,000 credits, Growth at $329 for 40,000 credits and Pro at $490 for 75,000 credits, with Enterprise quoted on request. Plan credits are valid for two months, and every paid tier can top up at 100 credits for $1. AutoGTM is priced separately and has no monthly fee: $0.03 per email sent, which Explee illustrates as roughly $30 for a thousand emails. Bulk database exports start at $5 per 1,000 records for deep research and $10 per 1,000 for emails. Explee changes these, so treat the figure on its checkout as the real one.

The billing mechanics matter more here than the headline price. Everything runs through Stripe, and by saving a card you authorise Explee to charge it off-session for usage you have already accrued — including retrying charges that failed. Subscription credits roll over for up to two months; credits bought as one-off packs do not expire. A subscription can be refunded pro-rata within the first thirty days of a period, but charges for emails already sent are final. Free and promotional credits carry no cash value.

We put a Mehbit card through Explee’s checkout on 2026-09-05. Explee’s Stripe card-confirmation step approved a $1.00 authorisation, which was then reversed, alongside three $0.00 verification authorisations — so the platform accepted the card. Be clear about what that does and does not show: no money settled, and this is not a record of a paid Explee subscription. It is proof that a Mehbit card gets past the point where Explee saves your payment method, which is the step that stops most cards.

What actually goes wrong afterwards is the balance, not the card. On the same day, a second $1.00 attempt on that card was declined with the reason “Insufficient card balance”. That is the failure mode to plan for, and AutoGTM makes it sharper than a normal subscription does: charges arrive after emails go out rather than on a predictable date, and Explee retries failed charges rather than quietly giving up. A card that runs dry mid-campaign accrues a debt that keeps being retried.

A couple of signup details are worth knowing in advance. Explee asks for a card even for the free trial, so you cannot defer the card question by starting on credits — fund the card first, then add it, or the confirmation step fails on an empty balance. Keep the billing details on your Explee account consistent with the card. And note the geography mismatch: the prices are in dollars but the merchant is UK-registered, so the descriptor on your statement will say London rather than anything resembling the product name you signed up for.
