What is this service?
WaveSpeedAI is a Singapore-based AI platform for generating images, video, audio and 3D. It puts a large catalogue of models behind one API key: in-house models alongside well-known families such as FLUX, Seedream, Seedance, Kling, Wan, Veo and Nano Banana.
You can use the models in the browser through its image and video generators, or call them from code with the REST API and the Python and JavaScript SDKs. There is also a CLI/MCP tool for running models from a terminal or an AI agent.
WaveSpeedAI bills by usage from a prepaid credit balance that you top up by card. A Mehbit virtual debit Mastercard topped up with USDT was accepted there like any other international card.
Why is payment hard?
Many local bank cards are not authorized for international SaaS billing. Services process payments through Stripe on international rails, so domestic-only cards are often declined even when you have sufficient balance.

WaveSpeedAI accepts cards through Stripe, plus PayPal, Alipay and WeChat Pay depending on region. A Mehbit virtual debit Mastercard was accepted when topping up credits. No crypto option is listed.

FAQ
Can I pay for WaveSpeedAI with a virtual card?
Yes. We tested WaveSpeedAI with a real Mehbit card — payments went through and settled. Issue a Mehbit virtual debit Mastercard, top it up with USDT and add credits by card on the Billing page.
How much does WaveSpeedAI cost?
It is pay-per-use with no subscription. Each model has its own price on its model page, and the cost depends on resolution, video length and the number of outputs. You see an estimate before each run.
Is there a free trial?
Eligible new accounts get $1 in trial credit without adding a card. Some premium models cannot be used with trial credit.
Do WaveSpeedAI credits expire?
No. WaveSpeedAI says paid credits never expire. They are non-refundable, but failed requests caused by system errors are refunded to your balance automatically.
Why is my new account so slow?
New accounts start at the Bronze level, limited to 5 predictions a minute and 2 concurrent tasks. Any successful top-up moves the account to Silver, with far higher limits.
Tips
Try the $1 trial credit first, if your account is eligible, to check that the model you need gives the results you want.
Top up the Mehbit card before checkout: it must already hold the full top-up amount.
Check the price on the model page or with the price endpoint before long video runs; video models cost much more than image models.
Any successful top-up lifts the strict new-account rate limit, so make a first top-up before you put the API into a real app.
If you enable auto top-up, set a monthly limit and keep the card funded — every declined attempt still costs $0.35 from your Mehbit wallet.
Paid credits do not expire, but they are non-refundable, so buy what you expect to use.
Payable with Mehbit virtual cards.
