Pay for MEGA

MEGA lists its prices in euros and says you are charged in euros for every transaction, even when the pricing page shows an estimate in your local currency. Essential gives 200 GB of storage and is listed on yearly billing at €40 a year. Pro Lite is €4.99 a month or €59.99 a year for 750 GB. Pro I is €9.99 a month or €99.99 a year for 3 TB. Pro II is €19.99 a month or €199.99 a year for 10 TB, and Pro III is €29.99 a month or €299.99 a year for 20 TB. MEGA says yearly billing saves up to 17%.

Each plan also has a transfer quota — the amount of data you can download or stream. On monthly billing the quota matches a month of use (for example 3 TB a month on Pro I); on yearly billing you get the whole year’s quota up front (36 TB on Pro I). If you need more than 20 TB, Pro Flexi starts at €15 a month for 3 TB of base storage and transfer, and extra storage and transfer cost €3.50 per TB, charged monthly for what you actually use.

All paid plans include MEGA VPN, MEGA Pass and unrestricted chat and meetings, so you do not have to buy them separately. MEGA VPN and MEGA Pass are also sold on their own as standalone subscriptions, and MEGA offers free trials on them — check the current terms on MEGA’s site before you start one.

MEGA says it accepts payment by credit and debit card, or by Bitcoin, and that other methods may be available depending on your location. So a card is not the only way to pay: if you already hold Bitcoin, you can use it directly. If your funds are in USDT, a USDT-funded Mehbit card is the convenient route — you move what you need onto the card and pay by card at checkout. Because MEGA charges in euros and a Mehbit card is dollar-denominated, the payment is converted on the way, so the dollar amount depends on the exchange rate that day. Keep a little more on the card than the euro price suggests.

Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly or yearly, on the same day of the month you subscribed — until you cancel, so the card needs enough balance before each renewal date. You cancel from the account page at mega.nz/account (subscriptions bought through a mobile app store are cancelled in that store). If you cancel and keep a free account while storing more than the free plan allows, MEGA may restrict access to the account, so download or tidy up your files first.

Refunds depend on where you live. Residents of the European Union can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, and residents of Brazil and South Korea within 7 days. Everywhere else, MEGA’s terms say purchases are final and non-refundable unless the law or a specific offer says otherwise. If you were charged in error you must contact MEGA within 30 days, and if you paid by mistake and have not used the plan, within 24 hours. Start with the free plan or a monthly plan before committing to a year.
