What is this service?
RunPod is a GPU cloud run by Runpod, Inc. in San Francisco. It rents graphics cards by the second for training and running AI models: Pods are containers with a dedicated GPU or CPU that you start and stop yourself, Serverless endpoints spin workers up when requests arrive and scale back to zero when they stop, and Clusters and network volumes cover multi-node jobs and persistent storage.
There is no monthly subscription. RunPod works on prepaid credits: you load a balance in US dollars, and compute and storage are deducted from it in real time while your resources run. That makes it popular for fine-tuning, image and video generation, inference APIs and any workload where you only want to pay while the GPU is actually busy.
Credits are bought with a card. A Mehbit virtual Mastercard topped up with USDT is an international dollar card, so you can load RunPod credits without a local bank card — provided you live somewhere RunPod’s own terms allow.
Why is payment hard?
Many local bank cards are not authorized for international SaaS billing. Services process payments through Stripe on international rails, so domestic-only cards are often declined even when you have sufficient balance.

RunPod accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and other cards Stripe supports, and a reloadable Mehbit virtual card was accepted at its checkout. Prepaid cards must deposit at least $100 per transaction. RunPod also takes crypto directly, with identity verification first.

FAQ
Can I pay for RunPod with a virtual Mastercard?
RunPod’s checkout accepted a real Mehbit card: the card check passed and a real charge reached the network, where it was declined only because the card did not hold enough balance. We do not yet have a settled payment on record, so treat this as "the card is accepted", not as a completed purchase. Fund the card first, then buy credits.
What is the minimum RunPod top-up?
RunPod says you can start with as little as $10 in credits. Its documentation adds that prepaid cards must deposit at least $100 per transaction, so if your card is treated as prepaid, plan on $100 or more plus any sales tax.
Does RunPod accept crypto?
Yes — RunPod takes cryptocurrency through a payment processor, and requires identity verification (KYC) before your first crypto payment. If you would rather pay by card in US dollars, move the USDT you need onto a Mehbit virtual card and buy credits with it.
What happens when my RunPod balance runs out?
At a $0 balance RunPod stops all running Pods. Pods with a network volume are stopped and keep their data; Pods without one are terminated and the data cannot be recovered. Network volumes keep accruing charges. Set a low-balance alert, or use auto-pay with a card you keep funded.
Can I get a refund for RunPod credits?
No. RunPod states that credits are non-refundable and can only be used for its services, and its savings plans are non-refundable too. Load only what you expect to use.
Can I use RunPod from any country?
No. RunPod’s terms of service prohibit use in embargoed countries and regions, naming Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. A payment card does not change those rules — check them before you load credits.
Tips
Fund the Mehbit card before you open RunPod’s billing page — the card must already hold the full deposit plus any sales tax.
Plan for a deposit of at least $100: RunPod requires that minimum per transaction from prepaid cards.
Do not retry a declined payment over and over. RunPod warns that repeated failed attempts can block all payment attempts for about 24 hours.
Load only what you expect to use — RunPod credits are non-refundable.
Turn on auto-pay only if you keep the card funded; otherwise set a low-balance email alert and top up by hand.
Attach a network volume to anything you cannot afford to lose: at a $0 balance, Pods without one are terminated with their data.
Delete stopped Pods and unused volumes you no longer need — stopped storage keeps draining credits.
Payable with Mehbit virtual cards.
