Pay for Skool

Skool is a platform for paid online communities and courses. Each community combines a discussion feed, a course area with structured lessons, a calendar for live calls, and a leaderboard that gamifies participation — all in one place instead of a Discord server plus a course host plus a mailing list.

Two different people pay Skool for two different things. Creators pay a monthly platform fee to run a community, and members pay whatever monthly or one-time price the creator sets for access. Both go through the same card checkout.

That checkout runs on international cards, which is where Iranian and other regional bank cards get declined — a common blocker when the course or community you want to join is only sold through Skool. If you are running your own community, remember the platform fee is about $99 per month and starts when the free trial ends. Keep that full amount on the card before the trial expires, or the first real charge will decline.

Community subscriptions are recurring. Keep a balance on the card through the whole period you intend to stay, and cancel inside Skool before the renewal date if you do not want to be charged again.

Match the billing name and address on your Skool account to your card details. Stripe runs AVS and 3-D Secure checks, and consistent billing information reduces the chance of a declined or flagged payment.
