What is Decodo?

Decodo is the proxy and web-data company formerly known as Smartproxy; it rebranded in April 2025 with the same team and network. It sells residential, static residential (ISP), mobile and datacenter proxies, plus Site Unblocker and a Web Data API for scraping, search and crawling.

Plans are billed in US dollars and renew monthly. Cards from countries with limited international payments are often refused at that checkout; a virtual Mastercard funded with USDT pays like any international card.

Residential proxies, per the Decodo pricing page: monthly plans start at 3 GB for $11.25 ($3.75 per GB) and get cheaper per GB as you go up, to 100 GB for $275. Pay as you go is $4 per GB, bought one GB at a time from your Wallet, and can’t run alongside a monthly plan.

Other products start at $0.27 per IP for static residential (ISP), $2.25 per GB for mobile and $0.02 per IP for datacenter proxies. The Web Data API has a free plan and paid plans from $19 a month. All prices are shown before VAT, which is added at checkout.

Every plan renews each month until you cancel it in My Subscriptions. Cancel before the next billing date; traffic you haven’t used stays available until the end of the current cycle.

The residential free trial gives you 3 days and 100 MB, and it needs a card, PayPal or Google Pay on file: the plan you picked starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel. If you use the trial, the 14-day money-back option no longer applies to that purchase.

Why local cards get declined at Decodo

Many local bank cards are not enabled for international online payments, or their bank refuses foreign merchants. Merchants abroad charge cards through global payment processors, so a domestic-only card is often declined even when it has enough balance.
