What is Command Code?

Command Code is an AI coding agent from Langbase, Inc. that runs in your terminal, in a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, and in IDEs. It is built around open models, adds its own taste-1 model that learns your coding style, and also exposes OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible API endpoints.

Plans are billed in US dollars through Stripe. Cards from countries with limited international payments are often refused at that checkout; a virtual Mastercard funded with USDT pays like any international card.

For developers who only want the API, the Provider plan is $15 a month and charges pay-as-you-go for the requests you make, with no markup on model prices. Teams is $40 a month with pooled credits and shared billing.

Every price is shown "plus processing fee", and the fee is displayed before you pay. When you run out, buy extra credits in Studio > Billing: between 5 and 500 credits at $1 each. Top-ups roll over.

Auto reload tops your balance up automatically when it runs low, and it only charges a saved card. If you want uninterrupted work during long agent sessions, a card on file is the way to get it.

You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

Why local cards get declined at Command Code

Many local bank cards are not enabled for international online payments, or their bank refuses foreign merchants. Merchants abroad charge cards through global payment processors, so a domestic-only card is often declined even when it has enough balance.
