Pay for Z.ai

Z.ai lists the GLM Coding Plan in US dollars with monthly, quarterly and yearly billing. Lite is $18 a month, $43.20 a quarter or $151.20 a year. Pro is $80 a month, $192 a quarter or $672 a year. Max is $168 a month, $403.20 a quarter or $1,411.20 a year. Quarterly billing works out about 20% cheaper than paying monthly and yearly billing about 30% cheaper. Z.ai runs promotions from time to time and may add tax, so the amount shown at checkout is the one that counts.

What you buy is a usage allowance. Lite includes 2,000 credits per 5-hour window and 10,000 credits per week; Pro includes 12,000 and 60,000 (six times Lite); Max includes 28,000 and 140,000 (fourteen times Lite). Off-peak usage is charged at half the credit rate — peak hours are Monday to Friday, 14:00–18:00 Singapore time. When the allowance runs out you wait for the next refresh: Coding Plan calls never spill over into your account balance.

The plan renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle. Z.ai takes the fee from any bonus credits first, then your cash balance, then the linked payment method, which its help pages describe as a bank card or PayPal. No crypto option is documented. A USDT-funded card fills that gap: you keep your funds in USDT, move what you need onto a Mehbit virtual card and pay Z.ai in dollars. Z.ai prices in US dollars and a Mehbit card is dollar-denominated, so there is no currency conversion on the way.

Two rules deserve attention before you pay. First, Z.ai does not refund subscriptions once purchased, even if you have barely used the plan. Second, to stop a renewal you must cancel ahead of time from the subscription page: Z.ai’s subscription terms say at least 24 hours before the term ends, while the Coding Plan usage policy says at least 3 days before the next billing date — cancel 3 days ahead to be safe. After cancelling, the plan stays valid until it expires. Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately, with the unused value of the old plan credited toward the new one.

Check eligibility before you subscribe. Z.ai’s terms of use require that users are not located in Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Crimea, Donetsk or Zaporizhzhia and are not on sanctions lists. The plan is also for the subscriber only — account sharing is prohibited — and must be used through officially supported tools; repeated violations can get an account limited or banned. A payment card does not change any of these rules, and a subscription bought against them is still non-refundable.
