What is this service?
The Duolingo English Test (DET) is an online English test you take at home on your own computer, any time, with results in about two days. Thousands of universities and programmes accept it for admission, and it is usually cheaper and quicker to book than a test-centre exam.
You buy the test in your DET account and pay online by card before you start. If you have no international bank card, a Mehbit virtual Mastercard funded with USDT lets you buy the test yourself.
Why is payment hard?
Many local bank cards are not authorized for international SaaS billing. Services process payments through Stripe on international rails, so domestic-only cards are often declined even when you have sufficient balance.

How long do I have to take the test after paying?
21 days from purchase. Each credit gives you three attempts to start and finish the test. Unused credits expire and the deadline cannot be extended.
Can I get a refund?
Only in limited cases. Bundles and Faster Results are not refundable, and refunds go only to the original payment method. Keep the card you paid with open until any refund arrives.
Tips
Buy only when you are ready to test: unused credits expire after 21 days.
Check your camera, microphone and internet first. Each credit has three attempts.
Choose a bundle only if you are sure you will take a second test; bundles are not refundable.
Use your own Mehbit card in your own account so any refund comes back to you.
