What is this service?

World Education Services (WES) checks degrees and transcripts from other countries and issues a report showing what they are equivalent to in the US or Canada. How much does a WES evaluation cost?

Document-by-Document starts at US$118 (Basic) or US$171 (ICAP); Course-by-Course at US$186 (Basic) or US$239 (ICAP). Delivery starts at US$14, and Canadian applicants may pay 13% HST. The ECA for Canadian immigration is priced in Canadian dollars.

Basic or ICAP — which do I need?

ICAP includes verified copies of your transcripts that the recipient can view; many universities and boards ask for it. Check with the organisation receiving the report. You can upgrade from Basic to ICAP for US$53 while the evaluation is in progress.

Is the price in US or Canadian dollars?

US evaluations are priced in US dollars; the ECA for Canadian immigration is in Canadian dollars. A Mehbit card holds US dollars, so a Canadian-dollar fee is converted when you pay. Load a little extra to cover the exchange rate.
