What is this service?
Yandex Go is a ride-hailing and delivery super-app that combines taxis, food and grocery delivery, package couriers, and e-scooters into a single application. In much of Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Serbia, and the Baltics it is the default way people get a taxi and order deliveries, filling the role Uber plays elsewhere.
Yandex Go does not sell a subscription for rides. You link a bank card in the app once, and after each completed trip or delivery the fare is charged automatically to that card — pure pay-as-you-go. This makes a reloadable virtual card an ideal fit: you only ever spend what a ride actually costs, and you can top the card up whenever the balance runs low.
If your local bank card is not accepted at Yandex Go's checkout — a very common problem for cards issued in Iran — Mehbit lets you fund a reloadable virtual Visa or Mastercard with USDT and add it in the app's Payment methods screen. Yandex Go is by far the single most-used service among Mehbit cardholders, with well over a hundred successful real card payments going through it.
Why is payment hard?
Many local bank cards are not authorized for international SaaS billing. Services process payments through Stripe on international rails, so domestic-only cards are often declined even when you have sufficient balance.
Accepted card types
- Virtual Visa
- Virtual Mastercard
- Prepaid
- Debit
- Credit card
- Crypto (direct)
Reloadable virtual Visa and Mastercard cards work in Yandex Go's non-Russian markets (Armenia, the Caucasus, Central Asia). Inside Russia only Mir is accepted for foreign users. Single-use gift-card BINs and direct crypto are not supported; keep enough balance since the card is charged after each ride.

FAQ
Does Yandex Go accept virtual Visa or Mastercard?
Yes. In its non-Russian markets — Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and others — Yandex Go accepts international Visa and Mastercard, and a reloadable virtual Visa/Mastercard is treated like any standard international card.
Can I pay for Yandex Go rides with a Mehbit card?
Yes. Top up a Mehbit virtual Visa or Mastercard with USDT, add it under the app's Payment methods, and each completed ride or delivery is charged automatically. Yandex Go is the single most-used service among Mehbit cardholders.
How much does Yandex Go cost — is there a subscription?
There is no subscription for rides. You pay per trip: a typical city taxi ride costs a few dollars and delivery fees are added per order. The only optional paid product is Yandex Plus, a loyalty subscription of roughly a couple of dollars per month that you do not need to use the app.
Can I pay with cryptocurrency directly?
No. Yandex Go does not accept cryptocurrency at checkout. With Mehbit you use crypto (USDT) to fund a virtual Visa or Mastercard, then pay Yandex Go with that card like any normal international card.
Is there a free trial or hold on my card?
There is no free trial — it is pay-per-ride. When you first add a card, Yandex may place a small temporary authorization hold to verify it and then release it; you are only really charged after a completed ride.
What if my local bank card is declined by Yandex Go?
Iranian domestic cards are generally not accepted, and note that foreign Visa/Mastercard also do not work inside Russia (only Mir does there). Use a Mehbit virtual Visa or Mastercard in the non-Russian regions.
Tips
Keep a small buffer on the card above your expected fare — Yandex charges after the ride, and a low balance can cause the trip's payment to fail.
Use Yandex Go with a card in its non-Russian markets (Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and others); foreign Visa/Mastercard do not work for rides inside Russia, where only Mir is accepted.
When adding the card, watch for a small temporary authorization hold — it is a verification check and is released, not a charge.
Cash remains a fallback for taxis in most cities, so a single declined card does not have to strand you mid-trip.
Yandex Plus is optional — only subscribe if you want cashback points and free scooter unlocks; you never need it just to pay for rides.
