What is this service?

The Uzbekistan e-visa is applied for entirely online through the government portal at e-visa.gov.uz. You complete the form, upload a passport scan and a photo, pay the fee by card, and the visa is emailed to you as a PDF to print and carry.

There is no embassy appointment and no paperwork to hand in, which makes the card payment the single step where the process can stop for reasons unrelated to your application. The portal bills in US dollars through an international card processor, and a local bank card is declined there.

A Mehbit virtual Visa or Mastercard, funded with USDT, is accepted by that portal. This is payment-tested rather than assumed: a real cardholder fee settled cleanly.

Accepted card types

  • Virtual Visa
  • Virtual Mastercard
  • Prepaid
  • Debit
  • Credit card
  • Crypto (direct)

The Uzbekistan e-visa portal runs cards through a standard international processor, so a reloadable virtual Visa or Mastercard works like a normal international card; single-use gift-card BINs may fail. The portal does not accept cryptocurrency, so pay by card or use a Mehbit proxy payment. A working card covers the payment step only — visa eligibility and the decision itself are set by the government of Uzbekistan.

Some regions add VAT on top of every card payment. Pick a card from a lower-tax region and keep more of what you spend.

Why is payment hard?

Many local bank cards are not authorized for international SaaS billing. Services process payments through Stripe on international rails, so domestic-only cards are often declined even when you have sufficient balance.

FAQ

Can I pay the Uzbekistan e-visa fee with a Mehbit card?

Yes. A real Mehbit cardholder payment of $21.50 to the Uzbekistan e-visa portal settled successfully on 2026-08-28. Issue a Mehbit virtual Visa or Mastercard, fund it with USDT, and enter it at the payment step on e-visa.gov.uz.

Does paying the fee mean my visa is approved?

No. The fee is charged for processing the application, not for a decision in your favour, and it is normally non-refundable even if the application is refused. Confirm you meet the requirements on the official portal before you pay.

How much is the Uzbekistan e-visa fee?

Check the current fee on e-visa.gov.uz rather than relying on any third-party figure, including ours — government fees change and vary by visa type and number of entries. For reference only, one real Mehbit cardholder charge came to $21.50 in August 2026.

Why was my card declined by the Uzbekistan e-visa portal?

The usual causes are an insufficient balance at the moment of payment, or a billing name that does not match the card. Local bank cards are also declined outright because the portal bills through an international processor. Top up in advance, check the name matches, and use a Mehbit card rather than a local one.

Should I use an agency site instead?

You do not need one. Agency sites rank prominently in search and charge a markup on top of the government fee for filling in the same form you can complete yourself on e-visa.gov.uz. If a site quotes substantially more than the official fee, that difference is a service charge.

What if I cannot get the payment to go through at all?

Request a proxy payment in the Mehbit app. Tell us the fee and your application details, we pay the portal from your USDT balance, and you avoid the repeated failed attempts that can lock an application on some government portals.

Tips

Top up the card before you start the application, not when you reach the payment screen. Some portals time out or lock an application if it sits unpaid, and you do not want to be funding a card against a countdown.

Load the fee plus a small buffer. The fee is quoted in US dollars and may be converted before it reaches the card, which can move the final amount by a few percent. A payment that fails for being cents short means restarting the form.

Check the fee on the official portal before topping up, not on this page. Government fees change, and the figure we can vouch for is a single real charge from August 2026, not a published rate.

Match the billing name to the name on your Mehbit card. Payment processors run verification checks, and a mismatch between the applicant name and the cardholder name is a common cause of a decline on an otherwise valid card.

Do not retry a declined payment repeatedly. Some government portals lock an application after several failed attempts, which can mean starting the whole submission again. Check the balance once, then request a proxy payment in the Mehbit app if it still fails.
