What is this service?
Yesim is a Swiss eSIM provider based in Baar. Instead of buying a local SIM card when you land, you install a Yesim eSIM from its app or website onto your phone and it connects to partner networks abroad — Yesim works with more than 800 operators, and its pay-as-you-go service covers over 170 countries. The eSIM is data-only: you get mobile internet, not a local phone number.
Yesim sells connectivity in several shapes. There are fixed-data plans for a single country or region, unlimited plans that run for a set number of days, a Global Package that covers 83 countries with one eSIM, and Pay & Fly — a pay-as-you-go option that charges per megabyte from your account balance. Separately, Yesim rents virtual phone numbers that receive SMS, which people use for verification codes when their own number is not available.
Everything is bought inside the Yesim app or on its website and paid by card, wallet, PayPal or crypto. A Mehbit virtual Visa or Mastercard topped up with USDT works at Yesim’s checkout like any other international card, so you can buy data before a trip without a local bank card.
Why is payment hard?
Many local bank cards are not authorized for international SaaS billing. Services process payments through Stripe on international rails, so domestic-only cards are often declined even when you have sufficient balance.

FAQ
Can I pay for Yesim with a virtual Visa or Mastercard?
Yes. Yesim accepts Visa, Mastercard and other major cards, and we tested it with a real Mehbit card — Yesim accepted the card and authorized the payment. Issue a Mehbit virtual card, top it up with USDT, and pay at Yesim’s checkout.
Yesim accepts crypto — why use a card?
Paying with Binance Pay or another crypto option works for a one-off purchase. A card is more convenient if you want auto top-up for Pay & Fly or automatic plan renewal, because Yesim can charge a saved card on its own. A USDT-funded Mehbit card gives you both: you fund it with crypto, and Yesim sees an ordinary card.
How much does Yesim cost?
It depends on where you travel and how you use data. Pay & Fly starts from about $1.10 per GB. The Global Package for 83 countries runs from $34.80 for 10 GB over 30 days to $130.80 for 80 GB over a year, and the Unlim Day Pass costs $58.80 for 10 days up to $238.80 for 80 days. Country plans are priced individually, and prices are shown in your local currency.
Can I get a refund from Yesim?
Yes, if you ask within 30 days of purchase and the eSIM or plan has not been activated or used. Refunds go back to the original payment method — so to your Mehbit card — but refunds of €10 or less are paid in Ycoins. Ycoins themselves are not refundable, and requests are reviewed within 15 business days.
Does Yesim give me a phone number?
Not with the data eSIM — it is data-only. Yesim sells virtual numbers separately; they receive SMS, for example verification codes, on numbers from the US, UK, Netherlands, Canada and other countries, from $7.20 a month on a monthly rental.
Tips
Check that your phone supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked before you pay — a plan you cannot install is a wasted purchase.
Buy and install the eSIM before you travel, while you still have Wi-Fi. It activates when it connects to a network at your destination.
Compare plan types for your destination: a fixed plan is cheapest for predictable use, Pay & Fly suits short or unpredictable trips, and unlimited suits heavy use.
Do not over-load your Ycoins balance. Credits are valid for one year and cannot be refunded or cashed out.
If you enable auto top-up or plan auto-renewal, keep enough balance on the Mehbit card — if a renewal cannot be charged, Yesim cancels auto-renewal.
Keep the Mehbit card active for a few weeks after buying: refunds go back to the original payment method.
Payable with Mehbit virtual cards.
