What is this service?
Starlink is SpaceX's satellite internet service, delivering high-speed, low-latency broadband almost anywhere on Earth through a constellation of thousands of low-Earth-orbit satellites. You buy a self-install kit (dish, router, cables) once, then pay a recurring monthly service fee for the connection.
It is used by rural households with no cable or fiber, RV and van travelers, boaters, remote worksites, and anyone who needs internet where traditional providers do not reach. Plans are split between fixed-location Residential service and portable Roam (mobile) service, and both are month-to-month with no long-term contract.
The recurring monthly service is billed automatically to the payment card saved on your Starlink account. If your local bank card is declined at Starlink's checkout, Mehbit lets you fund a reloadable virtual Visa or Mastercard with USDT and save it on your account at starlink.com/account.
Why is payment hard?
Many local bank cards are not authorized for international SaaS billing. Services process payments through Stripe on international rails, so domestic-only cards are often declined even when you have sufficient balance.
Accepted card types

- Prepaid
- Debit
- Credit card
- Crypto (direct)
Standard international Visa/Mastercard credit and debit cards work at Starlink's checkout. Starlink explicitly does not accept pre-paid cards and rejects some debit cards, so use a reloadable Mehbit virtual card (not a single-use gift-card BIN) and make sure your billing name and address match. Starlink does not take direct cryptocurrency — you fund the Mehbit card with USDT and pay Starlink in the card's currency.

FAQ
Does Starlink accept a virtual Visa or Mastercard?
Yes. Starlink accepts standard international Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards, and a Mehbit reloadable virtual card presents as one. It must not be a pre-paid or single-use gift-card BIN, since Starlink does not accept pre-paid cards, and your billing name and address should match the card.
Can I pay for Starlink with a Mehbit card?
Yes. Issue a Mehbit virtual Visa or Mastercard, top it up with USDT, and save it on your Starlink account at starlink.com/account under Billing → Payment Method. Starlink then charges the monthly service fee to that card automatically.
What do Starlink plans cost?
There is a one-time hardware kit (about $349 for the standard dish, $249 for the Mini) plus shipping, then a monthly service fee. In the US, Residential is roughly $55–$130/mo depending on speed tier, Roam 100GB is about $55/mo, and Roam Unlimited about $175/mo. Prices vary heavily by country and change over time.
Can I pay Starlink directly with crypto?
No. Starlink does not accept direct cryptocurrency. With Mehbit you fund a virtual Visa or Mastercard with USDT and Starlink charges that card in its normal currency, which is how you effectively pay with crypto.
Is there a free trial for Starlink?
No. You pay for the hardware kit and the first month of service to activate. Many regions offer a limited money-back window on the hardware if you are not satisfied, but the monthly service itself has no free tier.
What if my local bank card is declined by Starlink?
Starlink is strict about card type and rejects pre-paid and some debit cards, so local cards often fail. Use a reloadable Mehbit virtual Visa or Mastercard funded with USDT. Mehbit users have made successful real card payments to Starlink.
Tips
Keep enough balance on your Mehbit card to cover both the monthly service fee and, at signup, the hardware kit plus shipping — the first charge can be several hundred dollars.
Use a billing name, address, and ZIP/postal code that exactly match your Mehbit card details so the card passes address verification when Starlink saves it.
Because Starlink rejects pre-paid and gift-card BINs, use a reloadable Mehbit virtual card and avoid any single-use card number.
Confirm the exact price at your own account's checkout — Starlink's plans and monthly fees vary heavily by country and change over time.
You can pause and resume Roam service from the Starlink app to avoid paying for months you are not using; keep the saved card funded before your billing date so service is not interrupted.
