Pay for GlassWire

GlassWire Premium is priced per license — one license per PC — and billed once a year. The Personal plan (1 license) is listed at $2.99 a month, paid annually, which comes to $35.88 for the year. Bigger plans cover 2 (Duo), 5 (Family), 10 (Small Business) or 20 (Business) licenses, and the pricing page advertises discount codes on them: for example $4.18 a month for Duo with the code DUO30, or $7.48 a month for Family with FAMILY50, both billed annually. Two things move the amount you really pay away from these figures. GlassWire’s terms say prices exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable rate, and that you pay in the currency shown on the order form — not necessarily US dollars. Read the total on the order form before you confirm.

On 2026-09-14 a Mehbit card paid GlassWire and the charge settled: €30.50, which came to $36.18 on the card. It appeared on the statement as WWW.GLASSWIRE.COM VAT IE352062 IRL — GlassWire’s web address followed by an Irish VAT registration number. A day earlier, on 2026-09-13, the same card showed a pending $0.00 entry with the same descriptor. That was not a payment: it was a zero-amount verification check, the kind checkouts run to confirm a card is valid before charging it. So this page rests on one settled purchase, not a long track record, and we are not claiming more than that.

Notice that the charge was billed in euros, not dollars. When a merchant bills in euros, the amount taken from a dollar card depends on the exchange rate on the day, so it can differ a little from any figure you worked out in advance. The card data alone cannot tell us whether that €30.50 included VAT or which plan it paid for, so do not read it as the price of a particular plan. The practical rule is simple: fund the card with some headroom above the total on the order form rather than the exact figure.

The moment to plan for is the renewal. Premium renews automatically a year after you buy it and charges the card saved in your account, without asking first. If the card is empty that day, the renewal fails and, as GlassWire describes it, the PCs on the plan revert to the free version with its limited features. Put the renewal date in your calendar and top up the card a few days before. If you do not want to renew, switch auto-renewal off from the Plan page in the Management Console; the plan then runs to its end date and drops back to free.

Buying works differently from most software stores. You do not pay on the pricing page: you install GlassWire, create a GlassWire account from the account icon in the app (at sign-up you choose whether the account is registered in the USA or Europe), and then upgrade your plan in the Management Console. Once the plan has free licenses, choosing Upgrade from the GlassWire menu on a PC activates Premium there. GlassWire’s terms include a 14-day money-back guarantee; after that, refunds are at GlassWire’s discretion. If you still have an old Basic, Pro or Elite license, that is a legacy subscription, and GlassWire says to cancel it through the link in your original order email rather than in the console.
