Pay for Google Workspace

Google Workspace is sold in four tiers. Business Starter is about $7 per user per month on the annual plan, Business Standard about $14, and Business Plus about $22; the flexible month-to-month plan costs roughly 20% more ($8.40 / $16.80 / $26.40). Enterprise is quoted by Google sales. Those are Google’s US list prices — your own country’s prices and taxes will differ, and Google changes them, so treat the number at checkout as the real one.

The important thing about paying for it is which Google billing rail it runs on. Workspace is charged through Google Payments under an ordinary software merchant category — the same rail as Google Cloud and Google Ads, both of which are payment-tested on Mehbit cards. It is not Google Play billing, which sits under a restricted merchant category (MCC) that blocks our cards at the network level. Those two things get confused constantly: a blocked Play purchase says nothing about Workspace.

We paid a real Google Workspace subscription with a Mehbit card on 2026-09-02 and Google accepted it at checkout. That is why this page carries the green payment-tested badge rather than an untested one.

What actually goes wrong after that is almost never the card itself — it is the balance on renewal day. Google charges Workspace monthly on your signup date, retries a failed charge for a few days, and then suspends the account until the bill is settled. Top the card up a day or two before that date, not on it, and keep a small buffer above the exact amount for tax.

A few signup details are worth getting right the first time. Workspace needs a domain: you can verify one you already own, or buy one during signup through Google’s domain partner, which is a separate charge on top of the subscription. The billing country you pick is effectively permanent — changing it later usually means recreating the account — so pick the one that matches how you will use the account, and keep the billing address on your Google account consistent with the card.
