What is this service?
Infura is blockchain infrastructure from Consensys, the company behind MetaMask. Instead of running your own nodes, you send API requests to Infura and it reads from and writes to the chain for you. It gives access to more than 40 networks, full archive data and extras such as the Gas API, and it is now managed from the MetaMask Developer dashboard.
Developers and teams use it as the backend for wallets, dapps, bots and analytics tools. Usage is measured in credits: each API request consumes a number of credits depending on how heavy it is, and every plan comes with a daily credit quota and a credits-per-second throughput limit.
There is a free plan, and the paid plans are monthly subscriptions charged to a card. A Mehbit virtual Mastercard topped up with USDT works at Infura’s checkout like any other international card, so you can pay for a plan without a local bank card.
Why is payment hard?
Many local bank cards are not authorized for international SaaS billing. Services process payments through Stripe on international rails, so domestic-only cards are often declined even when you have sufficient balance.

FAQ
Can I pay for Infura with a virtual Mastercard?
Yes. Infura’s self-serve plans are paid by card, and we tested it with a real Mehbit card — an Infura subscription payment went through and settled. Issue a Mehbit virtual card, top it up with USDT, and add it under Settings → Billing in the MetaMask Developer dashboard.
Does Infura accept crypto?
Only for custom plans. Infura says it accepts cryptocurrency for custom plans arranged through its team; the Developer and Team plans are paid by card. A USDT-funded Mehbit card bridges the gap: you move the USDT you need onto the card and pay Infura by card.
How much does Infura cost?
Core is free with 3 million credits a day. Developer is $50 a month with 15 million credits a day, and Team is $225 a month with 75 million credits a day. An add-on of 55 million additional credits costs $200 a month, and Enterprise is priced on request. Fees are in US dollars and exclusive of taxes.
Can I get a refund from Infura?
Infura does not publish a refund policy, so do not count on one. Its terms say there are no fee credits for periods of suspension. Start on the free Core plan, check your real usage, and downgrade in the billing settings before the next billing cycle if you no longer need a paid plan.
Is Infura available in every country?
No. The terms that cover Infura require that you are not located in a country subject to a comprehensive US sanctions programme and are not yourself the subject of US sanctions. Paying with an international card does not change these rules, so check that you are eligible before subscribing.
Tips
Start on the free Core plan and watch your daily credit usage in the dashboard before you pay for anything.
Top up the Mehbit card before you check out — it must already hold the plan price plus any tax.
Keep enough balance on the card ahead of each monthly invoice so your plan is not interrupted.
Set up usage alerts in the dashboard so you know when you are close to your daily credit quota.
An upgrade or the credits add-on is charged straight away — leave some headroom on the card if your traffic is growing.
Downgrades only apply at the end of the billing cycle, so change the plan before the next invoice if you want to pay less.
Keep the Mehbit card active after paying, in case a refund or adjustment needs to come back to it.
Payable with Mehbit virtual cards.
